Patrick Rodgers

CEO, Euronav; Director and Chairman of the International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation Fund

Patrick Rodgers has served on the Board of Directors of Euronav since June 2003 and has been a member of the executive
committee since 2004. He was appointed Chief Financial Oficer of the predecessor of the company in 1998 and has been 
Chief Executive Oficer since 2000. He is currently a Director and Chairman of the International Tanker Owners’ Pollution Federation 

Fund. Previously he has held various directorships in companies belonging to the CMB and Euronav group. Mr Rodgers also worked at 
CMB group as an in-house Lawyer and subsequently as Shipping Executive.




Koji Sekimizu

Secretary-General, International Maritime Organization


Koji Sekimizu has held the position of Secretary-General with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) since 2011. He
joined IMO in 1989 and has held previous roles including Technical Oficer in the organisation’s technology sub-division and 
head of the technology section. Originally from Yokohoma, Japan, Koji graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and went on to obtain 
a Master’s in engineering. In 1977 he entered the Ministry of Transport of Japan (MOT) and was appointed as a Ship Inspector. He later moved 
to the MOT headquarters and acted as Chief Oficer in charge of IMO regulations in the safety planning section of the Ship Bureau.
