YEG Educational Talk & Networking Session on Sanctions
The SSA YEG organised an educational talk and networking session on the
topic of ‘Sanctions’, on 1 March 2016. Mr. Karnan Thirupathy, Partner of
Kennedy’s Legal Solutions, delivered an informative talk as he explained
the various sanction regimes, how it relates to insurance and shipping in
Singapore, and shared two case studies involving local companies. It was
well attended with 25 participants and the evening rounded of with a
spread of light refreshments and a networking session.

YEG Lunar New
Year ‘Lo-Hei’ Dinner
The YEG members once again gathered at the exclusive Penthouse
at Paciic International Lines (Pte) Ltd for the annual YEG Lunar New
Year ‘Lo-Hei’ Dinner on 18 February 2016. The event welcomed more
than 60 participants, as all immersed themselves in the Chinese
New Year mood. We look forward to your participation at our next
Lunar New Year ‘Lo-Hei’ dinner in 2017 and the various YEG activities
in store throughout the year!
