SSA Lunar New Year Cocktail Reception 2016

O
ver 560 maritime leaders from the private and public
sector gathered at the Rales City Convention Centre on
17 February 2016, to usher in the Lunar New Year.
Guest-of-Honour, Mr. Khaw Boon Wan, Coordinating Minister
for Infrastructure and Minister for Transport, attended the
joyous afair and was welcomed by a pair of lions that delivered a
captivating performance and auspicious greetings to the maritime
community.
Speaking at the event, SSA President, Mr. Esben Poulsson,
announced details of the YEG 10th Year Anniversary Forum, set
for 26 May 2016, as well as SSA’s plans to berth two ofshore
support vessels at VivoCity to promote awareness and interest
in the maritime industry, particularly the ofshore sector. An SSA
Honorary Membership was also conferred that evening to former
Minister for Transport, Mr. Lui Tuck Yew, for his outstanding
leadership and great contribution to the maritime industry.
