OSV@Vivo
brings in the crowds
An exciting initiative by the SSA to open
up shipping to the masses by inviting the
general public to view two state-of-the-
art Ofshore Support Vessels (OSV) Paciic
Legacy and VOS Prince moored at the
local shopping mall Vivocity Waterfront
Promenade as part of Singapore Maritime
Week, has been branded a resounding
success with close to 3,000 visitors
coming along and students from the
Institute of Technical Education and Ngee
Ann Polytechnic of which 600 students
attended over the three days, 21-23 April
2016.
Describing the initiative as “ambitious
14| and much heralded”, SSA President Esben
Poulsson underlined the crucial role that
shipping plays in all our lives.
