With the current market outlook, SSA and DBS jointly organised a 

seminar for SSA members; “Charting a Course: DBS Market Outlook
and Opportunities in a Volatile Market” on 24 March 2016, at the DBS 

Auditorium. The session started with an opening address by SSA Council 

Member and Executive Director – Legal & inance, Safety & Training, Hong 
Lam Marine Pte Ltd, Ms. Caroline Yang. She briely shared her views on the 

market outlook from a shipowner’s perspective. Ms. Joyce Tee, Managing 

Director, DBS, Institutional Banking Group also welcomed all attendees.
