Convention and Exhibition Centre (also known as the Dubai World Trade Centre), the region’s most modern, purpose-built exhibition centre, and runs until Wednesday, 2nd November.Last year’s diamond jubilee Convention in Singapore was a great success with around 250 delegates from 50 countries attending and a record number of stands along with a packed programme of plenary sessions.According to Saeed Al Malik, Chairman of UNSSA, the decision to host the 61st Convention in Dubai as part of Seatrade Maritime Middle East was a strategic inspiration to ensure its members were able to be part of the ISSA itinerary but also benefit from the exhibition and conference programme offered by Seatrade.Seatrade Maritime Middle East (SMME) is the region’s largest meeting place for the maritime and shipping industries, which attracted well over 7,500 visitors from across 69 countries when it was last held in 2014.ISSA Convention has just unveiled its speaker line-up for the conferenceelement which has been titled ‘Coping efficiently with challenges and embracing the digital age’.
