Henrik Steffensen - an obituary

Lauritzen’s Vice President and Head of Procurement,
Henrik Steffensen, has died at the age of 53 after a
short illness.
He had worked for the ship owner for more than 20 years and
was a well- respected colleague and mentor amongst all the staff.
Henrik also served on the board of the International Marine
Purchasing Association (IMPA) and was appointed Chairman
and CEO in November 2014.
One of his greatest contributions during his time there
was the part he played in creating and working towards the
implementation of the IMPA Act, a programme for responsible
supply chain management. u
